What is CBD?

CBD, or Cannabidiol, is one of many compounds, known as cannabinoids, typically extracted from the hemp plant. In addition to its health and wellness properties, it has been found to have anti-anxiety benefits, and evidence suggested it can help relieve pain and inflammation.

How does CBD interact with your body?

All cannabinoids, including CBD, produce effects in the body by attaching to certain receptors. The human body produces certain cannabinoids on its own. It also has two receptors for cannabinoids, including CBD, called the CB1 receptors and CB2 receptors.

  • The CB1 receptors in the brain deal with coordination and movement, pain, emotions, and mood, thinking, appetite, and memories, and other functions.
  • CB2 receptors are more common in the immune system. They affect inflammation and pain.
  • Researchers also believe that CBD helps direct the body to use more of its own cannabinoids more effectively.

How can CBD help me?

Documented research suggests that it has medical benefits for the relief of pain, inflammation, anxiety, stress, sleeplessness, opioid treatment, and smoking cessation.

Is it legal?

Yes!  Thanks to the passing of the 2018 Farm Bill, CBD containing zero THC is not illegal in any state in the USA.  According to federal law, it is legal in all 50 states.  That said, since the change in law is relatively new, some states might not fully embrace CBD.  PureSwing CBD is a Broad Spectrum product, and as such, contains ZERO THC!

No!  PureSwing CBD is formulated with Broad Spectrum hemp oil, unlike Full Spectrum CBD products that do contain THC.

Will I pass a drug test for marijuana if I take PureSwing CBD?

Yes. PureSwing CBD is formulated with “Broad Spectrum CBD” and contains no THC.  THC, or Tetrahydrocannabinol is the psychoactive compound in marijuana that is typically screened for in standard drug testing.

What is Broad Spectrum CBD?

Broad Spectrum means that the product contains material from the whole hemp plant, including terpenes, flavonoids, and other cannabinoids such as CBN and CBG that work together to create the “Entourage Effect”, a more efficient, beneficial result than taking a CBD only compound, such as a CBD isolate product.  Broad Spectrum products contain ZERO THC.
